About
Offline Arcade started as a shared notes file between three friends who kept swapping recommendations for games to play on long train rides. The list got out of hand, so we turned it into a site. Everything here is written after we've actually installed the game and sat with it for a few evenings.
Our focus is narrow on purpose: titles that run fully offline. No forced logins, no "connect to continue" walls, no reliance on a server to load the next level. If a game secretly needs a connection to work, it doesn't make the catalogue.
We pick games by rotating who chooses. One week someone drags in a chunky RPG, the next it's a tiny puzzle nobody's heard of. We try to cover genres broadly so the site isn't just wall-to-wall match-three.
Nobody pays us to appear here. We buy or download the games ourselves, and if something is dull we say so. The point is to save you the fifteen minutes of installing and uninstalling junk.
